2026 Election Update: Flip the Board
We have important news to share about November 2026.
Trustee Dr. Joan Malczewski will be running for re-election. We are excited to support her candidacy.
We have also identified two other incredible candidates for the remaining seats. Before we finalize a slate we want to give anyone else who is considering a run the opportunity to come forward. This election cycle cannot afford a fourth candidate splitting votes. We need this community to organize around a unified slate. If you are considering running please reach out to us at info@fuellaguna.org by Friday, May 15 at 5pm.
We are finalizing the formation of our PAC to help fund the slate.
This is the most important school board election this community has seen in a generation. Everything we have watched this board majority do, every closed session, every forced departure, every bylaw change, every decision made outside of public view, all of it can be addressed at the ballot box in November. That work starts now.

Special Meeting: Thursday May 14 | Closed Session 3:45 PM

The agenda includes a closed session to appoint an Acting Superintendent, Interim Superintendent, or Superintendent. Less than 48 hours after separating from Dr. Glass, this board majority will select his replacement behind closed doors. The community will have no voice in who leads this district next. There has been no public communication that a search or discussion about our next superintendent r interim was underway.
